OUr festival strength

Leaders Globally coming together to celebrate the compelling islander spirit

The Langeland International Film Festival & Annual Education Programme will rise annually to celebrate island stories and island personalities.

Langeland International Island Film Festival starts with 2026 Film Days in May 2026, and we hope to grow towards a full Festival over our first one or two years, at venues across the island of Langeland, Denmark.

Filmblazers is the creative platform behind the Langeland International Film Festival - and will grow as the hub for innovation, education, collaboration, and education in film and media. Based on our work in 2026, we will launch Filmblazers with education partners, reflecting our mission to blaze new trails for island filmmakers and storytellers around the world and providing new contents of education for students.
