Rebecca Pruzan, who spends much of her free time in Tranekær, Langeland, is an Oscar®-nominated Danish producer known for her commitment to powerful, socially engaged storytelling. With a background at Denmark’s national broadcaster DR, she now focuses on films that explore urgent human realities and aim to move audiences in ways data and headlines cannot.
Her producer credits include the Academy Award-nominated short film IVALU, as well as the recent productions SNIPPED (2025) and Remember My Name (2025), and other acclaimed short films.
As Program Director at the Langeland International Film Festival, Rebecca brings deep industry insight and a strong passion for films that challenge, connect, and leave a lasting emotional impact.
